Dear SJC Family and Friends,
As some of you are aware, due to health concerns Camp Westminster has officially cancelled its 2020 season. We agree that this is the right decision to keep campers and staff safe this summer. Therefore, we are sad to announce that we will also be unable to hold Sae Jong Camp in person this year.
We know that this will be a huge disappointment to many but hope to somewhat mitigate this disappointment by hosting free virtual camp programming during the scheduled week (August 2-8). The details of virtual SJC are forthcoming, stay tuned.
We will be cancelling and fully refunding all registrations which you can expect to be processed within the next few days.Campers going into the 12th grade in the fall of 2020 (this year), have two options for SJC 2021 (next year):
- You are welcome to return for SJC 2021 as a camper. Those who choose to do so must still take a gap year before applying to be on SJC staff (if they so choose).
- You are welcome to apply to staff for SJC 2021 (this year – 2020 – would be considered your gap year). Staff applications for SJC 2021 will open this fall.
